Well, maybe someone has been waiting for this for a long time and finally got it. Meta is launching the AI Studio feature, which will allow you to create AI versions of yourself through its website or by launching a new “ AI chat” directly on Instagram . Now delegating your responsibilities will become easier and faster. The company announced this on July 29, writes The Verge.
The feature is designed to allow content content writing service
creators or business owners to create their own AI profiles to communicate with followers. They will be able to communicate with people in chat threads and respond to comments on the creator's account.

Users will now have two character options: regular AI characters that are primarily for entertainment, and “creator AI” to continue to be used by business owners, content creators, and celebrities. Creators will also be able to customize automated responses from their AI and dictate which accounts it is allowed to interact with.
AI Studio also plans to create brand new AI characters across all Meta apps. Here, the company is “inspired” by startups like Character.AI and Replika, where users already communicate with themed chatbots. Meta will also allow users to interact with AI characters created by other people.

Tests of this new feature have already been conducted with some famous Instagrammers. The idea behind the first trial was to allow several celebrities to create AI versions of themselves with the same face but different names and profiles. At the time, Meta said it went this route out of concern that the AI versions of celebrities would say inappropriate things on behalf of their human models — a risk that doesn’t go away even with the limitations built into AI Studio, since this is generative AI.
Now Meta is making it available to more creators in the U.S. The company also says its AI can help solve the problem of message overload for Instagram's most popular users.
The company notes that AI profiles will be clearly labeled on all platforms. According to the handbook for creators of such AIs, they will determine the prohibited topics themselves. Examples of questions that AIs can be prohibited from answering include: “Should I invest in cryptocurrency?”
For Ukrainians, unfortunately, this new tool from Meta will be limited for now.
